Ring size is a measurement used to denote the circumference (or sometimes the diameter) of rings made of jewelry and smart rings.

 A stick analogic to sizing



 It is possible to measure the diameter of rings by using a paper, metal, or plastic sizer for rings (a gauge), or by measuring the inner diameter rings that are already set.



 



 Ring sticks can be used to measure the diameter of rings' inner edges. They are usually made from delrin, plastic or wood and may also include multiple substances. For precise measurement, digital ringsticks can be utilized.



 



 Measurement systems



 International standard



 ISO 8653 - 2016 defines standards for sizes of rings. It is measured by the circumference of the band in millimetres. ISO sizes are utilized in Austria and France, Germany (Belgium), France, Germany.
